A mortality breaks out in Flanders and elsewhere. It began in Courtray. Thousands of people die.
Text originalOriginal text
Text translationEnglish translation of the text
In this time was a great mortality in Flanders. It spread especially in Courtray, and after all over Flanders. Thousands of people died si quickly, that who seemed to be healthy one day was in a grave the day after. This pestilence raged not only in Flanders, but also in neighbouring regions.
