In the year 1420 there was a great epidemic among the people, it began on the Feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God^{<a href="#cite_note-1">[1]</a>}, in Kostroma^{<a href="#cite_note-2">[2]</a>}, and in Yaroslavl^{<a href="#cite_note-3">[3]</a>}, and in Halych^{<a href="#cite_note-4">[4]</a>}, and in Plyos^{<a href="#cite_note-5">[5]</a>}, and in Rostov^{<a href="#cite_note-6">[6]</a>}; and so the people died, that there was no one to reap the grain.
