И в то же время [6952], по грѣхомъ нашимъ, начаша кони мрети в городѣ и по волостемъ велми много; новгородци же въспятишася и не поидоша за Нарову. А в то время псковици прислаша в Новъгород свои послы о миру, и узрѣша, оже в Новѣгородѣ кони много падуть, а новгородци не идоша за Нарову, и отъѣхаша безъ миру.
