A serious, unknown disease in some towns, probably in Vladimir-Suzdalian Rusia.

Text translationEnglish translation of the text

That year 1186[1]. the disease was very severe among the people, for there was not a single manor without a sick person, and in another town there was no one to give water, because everyone lie sick. God punishes his servants with many misfortunes, with water and fire, and with serious diseases.

  1. The disease probably attacked after July 11, because this is the date of earlier events (the wedding of Vsevolod Yurievich the Big Nest's daughter, Vseslava, with Rostislav, Vsevolod Olegovich's grandson).
